Today, I found this on Angelika's Other Blog
she is an Investor. Turns out that I am a philanthropist. I never thought of it that way but, I have always wanted to set up a non-profit to help parents of autistic and other disabled children get all of the help that they truly deserve. Then, I would give money to various researchers to come up with a cure (ie. Brest Cancer, Autism, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, Fibromyalgia and others.
What would you do with your money?
What are you and what would you do???

I'd probably give my money away too. There's a lot more people out there that could use money more than me.

Cascia ~ This is sad but true.
I was hoping I was a Philanthropist, too. But I turned out to be an Investor. I guess that's not so bad. I'd have lots of plans for a billion dollars. Charity would be high on my list, but there would be other things, too. I would want a self perpetuating fund that could be used for good things forever. I would need a system and investments to accomplish that.
d be a philanthropist too. Now if only I had the actual funds to match...
Ferd ~ When I first started the questions, I thought that I would wind up an Investor too. Even turning out a Philanthropist, I would still invest a huge chunk of the money.
My Autism Insights ~ This is soo true. I don't even play the lotto because I don't ever win.
It appears I would be a philanthropic billionaire. I didn't know I was so nice :)
Kelly ~ Knowing you I can believe it.
I came up as "idealist" on the quiz. So far in real life I donate $333 every month to someone. I also tithe my time - about 8 hours/month to the SPCA as a dog walker and about equal time to my political party.
One thing I didn't like about the quiz -- it assumed that without great wealth we had nothing to give. That's not true. We can start right now, today, with what we have because we are wealthy now.
I look forward to doubling my $333 and someday sooner than later turning it into $3333 a month!
I pass on most of what I have to dogs and women in recovery. Giving is a joy and the ultimate energy boost.
Great topic!
Viveca ~ Hats off to you for all that you do! Like I told Ferd, I thought that I would come up an Investor. I think that it is just the way that you answer the questions.
Mandy, you are a winner!
